Tornado
Ultra-flexible turret head
The Tornado-8 turret head delivers Europlacer’s legendary
placement flexibility. The atom3 machine deploys a single Tornado-8
head fitted to its own independent gantry, driven directly by twin
precision linear motors. Tornado-8 features integrated digital
vision for on-the-fly component alignment.
The eight nozzles in the Tornado-8 head handle a broad range of
components from 01005 profiles to devices with dimensions up to
50mm x 50mm and heights up to 34mm. An optional fixed camera
system extends that capability to components of 70mm x 70mm in
size, and even further under specific conditions to dimensions of
99mm x 99mm.
