What a great Productronica!

Despite the state of the global and in particular, European economy, what a fantastic attendance this year!

I would not say that we were rushed off our feet for all four days; it was quiet on Tuesday morning and it was all over by 14:00 on Friday, but in between there was a constant stream of people who all had a real purpose for being there. Almost without exception the visitors I spoke to personally were genuinely looking for equipment with a view to purchasing within the first 3 to 4 months of 2012. Of course some of these opportunities will be “subject to finance”, given the current financial status in some areas, but nevertheless they are promising.

My colleagues reported much the same, lots of strong opportunities and geographically widespread.

And here’s the best news……the majority were not existing or known Customers, there was a high percentage of new opportunities!
